Rehearsals and concerts

The Main Orchestra rehearses once every month usually on the third Sunday from 10am to 4pm with a break for lunch. Rehearsals are held at the Sixth Form College, North Hill, Colchester CO1 1SN.

The Training Orchestra rehearses for half a day usually on the same day as the main orchestra, again at The Sixth Form College, North Hill, Colchester CO1 1SN.

  • STRAWBERRY CONCERT, DEDHAM CHURCH CO7 6DE is A JOINT CONCERT for both Training and Main Orchestras. It is on SUNDAY 17th June. Rehearsal AT 12:00 Concert 3pm, Strawberries immediately after the concert. Concert clothes are CVYO polo shirts and dark trousers/skirts. Members should bring a lunch snack if needed (there will be a short break between rehearsal and concert). This concert is for all to attend and no tickets are required; a collection will be made at the end of the concert.
