No but if you talk to a member of CVYO who has been on tour, they will tell you they are the highlight of the year, so most members are keen to participate.

How do I join?

There are various ways to become a member of one of the orchestras: you can attend the open rehearsal in September which is a chance for you try it out and see if you like it before joining. You will be given a membership pack including a form to fill with details of how much you need to pay to join for the year. If you miss the open rehearsal, it doesn't matter.
